The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has launched a new plot scheme in January 2024. The scheme offers mixed land-use plots in Sector 24, which are located near the upcoming Noida International Airport. The scheme is open for all categories of applicants, and the allotment will be done through an interview. Here are the details of the scheme and how to apply for it.
What are the features of the YEIDA plot scheme 2024?
- The scheme offers 500 plots of various sizes ranging from 50 sqm to 4,000 sqm. The plots are suitable for commercial, institutional, industrial, and residential purposes.
- The plots are priced at Rs. 35,000 per sqm, which is lower than the prevailing market rates in the area. The authority has also offered a 10% rebate on the premium amount for women applicants, farmers, and persons with disabilities.
- The plots are located in Sector 24, which is near the Noida International Airport. The airport, which is expected to be operational by 2025, will have six runways and a capacity to handle 70 million passengers per year. The airport will also have a cargo terminal, a maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility, and an aviation academy. - The applicants can apply for only one plot under the scheme. The applicants who have already been allotted a plot by the authority in any previous scheme are not eligible to apply for the scheme. The applicants who have any dues or disputes with the authority are also not eligible to apply for the scheme.
- The applicants must submit the following documents along with the application form:
- Proof of identity, such as PAN card, Aadhaar card, passport, voter ID card, etc.
- Proof of address, such as electricity bill, telephone bill, bank statement, etc.
- Proof of income, such as salary slip, income tax return, bank statement, etc.
- Proof of category, such as certificate of women, farmer, or person with disability, if applicable.
- Passport size photograph and signature of the applicant.

How to Apply for the YEIDA plot scheme 2024?
- The applicants can apply online through the official website of YEIDA or through the Nivesh Mitra portal with all the documents. The applicants can also download the brochure containing the application form from the website of YEIDA by paying Rs. 500 + 18% GST.
- The applicants have to pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 25,000 + 18% GST and a refundable registration money of 10% of the total premium of the plot. The payment can be done through the online portal of YEIDA or through RTGS/NEFT by generating a challan from the Nivesh Mitra portal.
- The last date for submitting the application form is February 28, 2024. The allotment of the plots will be done through an interview by the screening committee of the authority. The date and venue of the interview will be intimated to the applicants through email and SMS.
- The successful applicants will have to pay 10% of the premium amount within 30 days of the allotment letter, and the remaining 90% in 16 equal half-yearly installments with 12% interest per annum. The applicants can also opt for a one-time payment of the premium amount with a 5% rebate.
